Backend editing now 20× faster

Sometimes it’s the small things that make the biggest difference in everyday work. Anyone who regularly edits content in TYPO3 knows the moment: adjust text, save, continue working. Especially in larger projects with extensive TypoScript configurations, reloading could take a little time.

This is exactly where we started.
With the new targeted cache invalidation, only the cache of the page currently being edited is updated when saving – instead of unnecessarily including other areas.

The result is immediately noticeable: Loading times of around 0.5 seconds – and thus up to 20× faster than before.

Mark AI-generated images

Artificial intelligence has long been part of creative processes. With the EU AI Act, new requirements for the transparency of AI-generated and manipulated content now also apply. The corresponding transparency obligations have been in force since 2 August 2026.

Bakehouse makes marking simple. In MediaCake, you can directly specify whether an image is AI-generated when uploading a file. The website then automatically displays a subtle “AI GENERATED” notice next to the image. One click in the backend. Clear information on the frontend.

Bakehouse updates

• Request forms can now attach all completed fields as a structured JSON attachment to the recipient’s email – ideal for automated further processing in CRMs or third-party systems

AI / Chatbot

• The Bakehouse chat widget now automatically displays an AI notice in the footer in the language of the guest (German, English, Italian, French, Dutch) – no manual configuration required
• The chatbot now incorporates more context when answering questions and searches across all linked pages of the project – for more accurate and complete responses
• Framework upgrade to Laravel 13
