Sommerberg - Bichlalm - Hintertux
From Hintertux, you can take the gondola through a veritable winter wonderland to Sommerberg. Even during the gondola ride, the view over the Tux Valley will take your breath away. Once at the top, it takes around 2 hours to walk along the groomed path back to Hintertux via the Bichlalm. (Avalanche warning signs must be observed!)
Eggalm - Tux - Lanersbach
The Eggalm 4-person gondolas enable a virtually private ascent from Lanersbach to Eggalm. The descent via the Lattenalm (snacks served) and on from Gemais to Tux-Lanersbach or Tux-Vorderlanersbach takes around 1 ½ hrs. (Trail nos. 39 and 21) in a unique winter ambience.
Penkenjoch - Penken - return
With a walking time of 1 hour, the Penken winter hiking trail is perfect for a leisurely winter tour. After walking alongside the Penkenjoch reservoir, you will pass the impressive Capella Granata before heading to the top station of the Penken combi-lift and back again. The panorama at the Penkenjoch extends over large parts of the Zillertal Valley and is well worth seeing!
